Anthony provides in depth medical consultations in all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology including inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and coeliac disease. His subspeciality interest is interventional endoscopy. He is passionate about cancer prevention and is an endoscopist for the National Bowel Screening Programme. Anthony is a member of the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology and is Southern Cross affiliated provider.

A gastroscopy is a procedure used to examine the oesophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine to investigate symptoms such as reflux, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, anaemia, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
A colonoscopy is a procedure used to examine the lining of the large bowel (colon) and rectum to investigate symptoms such as changes in bowel habit, rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, or iron deficiency, and to screen for bowel cancer. During the procedure, biopsies can be taken and polyps removed, helping to diagnose bowel conditions and prevent bowel cancer.

Anthony and the team provide in-person consultations at Waitematā Gastroenterology in Takapuna, offering comprehensive specialist assessment in a welcoming clinical setting. Telehealth appointments are also available for patients who prefer to connect from home or who are located outside Auckland, ensuring flexible and accessible care.
